Part of our job here at OS 4 Online is to review operating systems and make sure our readers have as much information as possible. Our reviews help our readers to make informed decisions. Everyone has their preference when it comes to operating systems, but we don’t discriminate. Our team doesn’t even agree on which one is best. Bottom line, you need to choose the OS that works for you and that will do the job you want to be done.

Let’s look at a few of the more well-known operating systems reviews.

Windows 10

Windows 10 is the newest offering from Microsoft. It is not without its drawbacks, but many people are saying that it is the best one since Windows XP. Windows XP is still used and preferred by many, but because of technological advances, its features are not necessarily keeping up. Windows 10 is easy to use, has a great interface, and operates well when it needs to multitask. It is definitely a step up from the previous versions like Vista and Windows 8.

Mac OS X

The Apple Mac operating systems are very popular, but not the best for all users. Mac is very good when it comes to multimedia and graphics, but shows it shortcomings when it comes to word processing and such functions. Still, many Apple users swear by Mac and are very happy with the Mac OS X operating system that is currently used on all new computers.

Unix and Linux are operating systems that are notoriously known to be not so user-friendly. This is not necessarily the case, but it is a more difficult system to use if you’re not familiar with it. Programmers prefer using Unix as it offers them features that help their work. It is not a mainstream OS, but many people are starting to explore it and use it more and more.
